I always keep my WD MyPassport Ultra enclosed in this case whenever I use it. Once, I accidentally kicked it from my bed onto the hard tile floor below. I was instantly worried that the HDD had been damaged and that something inside got physically altered or loosened up. I got more worried when it became very sensitive to movement and started disconnecting from my laptop whenever I moved it or the USB cord around even slightly - the enclosure or the port could have been damaged. But, I ran all the WD Utilities tests and they found no issues, it passed the SMART status etc. I replaced the cord with a new one and that was the solution, thankfully!

Good basic PC if you are wanting to surf the web and watch movies and check Emails. Not lighting fast but does what I need it to. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, this would be the one for you. Plenty of storage space, plenty of ram 4 MB. Lags slightly but not enough to slow you down. One other thing about this Laptop, it has a great picture when viewing. Best I have seen. Something else about this laptop. You might want to get you some cheap speakers for it. The sound that comes out of the build in speakers are weak sounding. I have a pair that I may hook up to it. Overall for the price I give, it 4 stars. Update on this Pc. Works Great. The lag I mention in the first review is no more. Not a minutes trouble with it. Worth the money. Has the CD/DVD drive on it.
